Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat children in their homes, focusing on communication, feeding, and swallowing. You will work with families to implement effective strategies and monitor progress in a supportive, collaborative environment.

We offer flexible scheduling with Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN options, plus a sign-on bonus for full-time caseloads.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure by start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child.
• Provide speech therapy addressing communication, articulation, language, feeding, and swallowing.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to support growth.
• Educate families on strategies to promote carryover at home.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Skills

Experience preferred

Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Supervision of assistants (preferred)

Education

Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program

Texas SLP license (or eligible)
