Visiting Angels of Fayetteville seeks caring individuals to join our team as In-Home Patient Care Assistants (PCA). You will support wellness and quality of life for clients in their homes across Raeford and nearby towns, following personalized care plans.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a Valid Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed).
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care.
• Feel confident in your physical endurance for tasks like lifting/grocery transport.
• Able to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints.
• Willing and able to comply with state and office health and safety standards (e.g., background check).
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten the day for each client.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Provide assistance with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.
