Job summary

Visiting Angels in Humble is seeking compassionate In Home Patient Care Assistants (PCA) to support clients across the Northeast Houston area in their homes with flexible schedules and competitive wages.

You’ll provide personal care, mobility support, meals, light housekeeping and companionship. A high school diploma, valid driver's license with insurance, and reliable transportation are required; First Aid training is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable personal vehicle are required for client transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid and emergency response training is required (provided if needed).
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking tasks while adhering to dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with state and office health and safety standards (background check).
• Bring compassion, understanding and a desire to brighten the day of each client.

In Home Patient Care Assistant - PCA Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you’re scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
