Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for private duty home care to adult patients with high acuity, including Trach/Vent needs. You will provide skilled nursing, perform assessments, and document care using electronic records in patient homes.

Your flexible Friday–Tuesday schedule supports work-life balance, with local support from clinicians, paid time off, and benefits. Experience in home health and a valid RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification with hands-on component.
• Reliable transportation to patient homes.
• Experience in adult home health or high-acuity care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes (adult/trach-vent).
• Monitor vitals, administer medications, and document care.
• Perform wound care, assessments, and care planning.
• Coordinate with family and healthcare team for outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Must have reliable transportation
