Job summary

United Academy of Music & Arts invites a dedicated Music Coach to join our in-person team for home-based lessons. You will design and deliver engaging lessons across violin, piano, guitar, drums and other disciplines, adapting curricula to diverse ages and skill levels.

You’ll assess progress, provide feedback, and foster a supportive environment that encourages artistic expression. Occasional evenings/weekends and travel to student homes are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong musical background including singing and basic piano, drums or guitar and music theory knowledge.
• Experience teaching or working with young children, including those with special needs.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to travel to students' homes and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging performing music lessons tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels.
• Develop curricula using instruments such as violin, piano, guitar, drums and other disciplines.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe, positive learning environment and promote teamwork.
• Assist with recitals, showcases and other performance opportunities.
• Maintain attendance, clocking and timely submission of timesheets.
