Job summary

Lap of Love invites veterinarians to join as an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian serving Washington, DC and surrounding areas. This mobile role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care, delivering compassionate services in clients’ homes while supporting a balanced, fulfilling career.

You’ll join a community of veterinary professionals, with ongoing mentorship, onboarding, and access to a 24/7 Support Center to help you shine in an independent practice model.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• DVM/VMD/BVMS required
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home veterinary hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Practice compassionate medicine in clients' homes across the Washington, DC area.
• Engage with families, offering guidance and support during difficult moments.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love mentors and practice managers to deliver high-quality care.
