Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Danville, VA is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, delivering skilled nursing services per orders, monitoring signs and symptoms, and documenting nursing diagnoses and data for each patient. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where practice occurs.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and documents nursing diagnoses.
