Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Liberty, Kentucky is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for Pediatric and/or Adult patients. The role requires an active LPN/LVN license and involves using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

Shifts are Weekday 10-hour day shifts with hourly pay between $27 and $31, plus benefits including health, dental, vision, HSA, paid time off and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
