Job summary

Best Buy is seeking an In-Home Installation Technician in Shreveport, LA. You’ll deliver, install and integrate tech products in customers’ homes, including home theater, networking and smart devices, and collaborate with Geek Squad agents and store teams to find the best solutions based on conversations.

The role requires 6 months of consumer electronics delivery/installation experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• 6 months of consumer electronics delivery, installation, integration and troubleshooting experience.
• 6 months of customer service experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards.
• Ability to acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required to perform job effectively within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to lift weight up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation and up to 150 pounds as part of a team with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift weight up to 250 pounds as part of a team with the support tools such as harnesses or lifts.

As an In-Home Installation Technician, you’ll be responsible for the delivery, installation, integration, and troubleshooting tech products such as home theater, computing, smart home and networking. Outside of delivery and installation, you’ll find the right solutions for customers’ lifestyles and technology needs based on your conversations. You’ll partner with other Geek Squad Agents, service partners, retail employees and supply chain employees to drive performance to meet Best Buy’s strategy and yearly initiatives.
