Visiting Angels Anniston, AL is hiring caregivers to serve our clients in the local area, including Talladega, Munford, Anniston, Harpersville, Riverside, Lincoln, and nearby communities. Flexible schedules, competitive wages, and growth opportunities are offered.

As an In Home Housekeeper or Caregiver you will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meals, mobility and safety while following each client’s care plan. Training in dementia and Alzheimer’s care is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards (background check).
• Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten clients' days.

Responsibilities

In Home Housekeeper or Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
