Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice seeks compassionate veterinarians to deliver end-of-life care in homes across Arizona. You will conduct in-home hospice and euthanasia with empathy, sitting with families through difficult moments and answering questions with care.

The role offers flexible 2–5 day schedules, self-managed options, and strong mentorship. You’ll work on the road, with ongoing training and support from a dedicated team, in a practice that values dignity and peace for pets and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and be licensed to practice.
• Ability to provide end-of-life care with empathy and professionalism.
• Flexibility to work in-home visits across assigned service areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets.
• Practice independently on the road with team-based support.
• Engage with families to address questions and provide clear explanations during difficult moments.
• Maintain safety, drive schedules, and complete required verifications prior to start date.
