Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life euthanasia care in Thousand Oaks and surrounding California communities. You’ll practice independently on the road, with mentorship and support from a dedicated team, while staying present for families during difficult moments.

Choose a schedule that fits your life—5, 4, or 2-3 day options—with generous base pay ($155k or $140k) and quarterly bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• DVM required and licensure to practice in California.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate end-of-life veterinary care in the home environment.
• Practice independently on the road with mentorship and team support.
• Help families say goodbye with dignity and empathy.
