Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare is seeking veterinarians to practice compassionate end-of-life medicine in families' homes across Oregon, including Portland, Eugene, Beaverton, and Newberg. You will work on the road with a schedule built around your life, delivering dignified, patient-centered care without the pace of a traditional clinic.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Weekends on Your Terms (flexible schedule).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, background check, and driving record review before start date.

Responsibilities

• Practice veterinary medicine independently on the road with a flexible, family-friendly schedule.
• Provide in-home hospice and end-of-life euthanasia to pets in their homes.
• Support grieving families with compassionate care and clear communication.
• Receive onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing support from a team with experienced colleagues.
