Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a Veterinarian to perform in-home hospice and compassionate euthanasia care across Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling, designed to respect work-life balance while delivering high-quality end-of-life care.

You will practice medicine with independence and support from a dedicated team, in a privately owned setting that values autonomy, professional judgment, and compassionate

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Active North Carolina veterinary license.
• Valid drivers license.
• Compassionate heart and commitment to end-of-life care.
• Availability including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care.
• Collaborate with families to support end-of-life decisions.
• Coordinate with support team for appointments and aftercare.
