Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice in San Diego is hiring veterinarians to provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care. You’ll practice on the road with a schedule that respects your life, not a clinic clock.

Choose from 5-day, 4-day, or 2–3 day options with self-managed parts, and earn a generous base salary with quarterly bonus opportunities. We offer mentorship, benefits, and no non-compete, so you can focus on the families you serve.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine required or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification and background check required before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care.
• Practice independently on the road with mentorship and team support.
• Communicate clearly with families to explain options and answer questions.
• Support families through difficult moments with dignity and empathy.
