Job summary

S & S Home Health Care Agency in New Jersey seeks a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to assist clients with daily living activities in their homes, helping maintain independence and quality of life.

You will provide personal care, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, monitor health, provide companionship, and follow care plans while maintaining accurate records; training and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Certified HHA or equivalent training as required by state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate client records.
