Job summary

Christus Home Care in Texas is seeking a Home Health Aide/CNA to deliver compassionate in-home care, supporting patients with daily activities and health-related tasks. You will report observations to supervisors and contribute to the client’s overall well-being in a home setting.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license with insurance or reliable transportation. TX-specific experience criteria apply, with CPR preferred or to be completed within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license with vehicle insurance or access to reliable transportation.
• TX: 1+ year full-time direct client care experience or equivalent training/competency within last 24 months, or nursing student with approved program.
• CPR certification preferred or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and designated health-related services to maintain patient well-being.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed (bathing, grooming, mobility).
• Report client observations to agency director or supervisor.
• Drive safely and comply with traffic regulations during work-related duties.
• Assist with household tasks essential to clients’ care.
