Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved training program for Home Health Aides.
• A valid Home Health Aide certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide.
• Excellent communication and empathy skills with clients and families.
• Ability to safely lift and move clients using proper body mechanics.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily needs such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Remind individuals to take their medications and help with administration.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the health care team.
• Perform light household tasks to maintain a clean, safe home.
• Prepare and serve meals that meet dietary requirements.
• Engage in compassionate conversations and provide emotional support.
