Job summary

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide in-home OT services within Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. The role supports patients to regain independence, working under an OT and a dedicated clinical team.

The position offers full-time or part-time/per diem arrangements with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, device reimbursement, and potential membership/profit-sharing through Obran Cooperative.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the AOTA.
• Licensed CA COTA with active status.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required or maintained.
• Willingness to travel to patient homes and reliable transportation.
• Experience in home healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home occupational therapy visits under supervision of an OT.
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence in daily activities.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement.
• Document visits in EMR in a timely manner.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the care team.
