Caregivers assist with personal care, daily routines, and activities while supporting comfort, safety, communication preferences, and independence.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year of in-home caregiving experience.
• Current Georgia CNA or PCA certification is required.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Current TB screening documentation must be current.
• Valid driver’s license or state-issued ID.
• Availability for weekend and/or PRN assignments.
• Patience, dependability and strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and maintain boundaries.

Aufgaben

• Support consistent daily routines and activities appropriate to the client’s age, interests and abilities.
• Respect and support individual communication preferences and tools.
• Recognize signs of distress and provide calming, reassuring support.
• Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers when needed.
• Maintain attentive supervision and follow safety guidelines.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping related to care.
• Provide medication reminders per the care plan; no skilled nursing duties.
• Document care and report changes or concerns promptly.
• Communicate respectfully with parents/guardians and the office team.
• Follow the established care plan and family routines within assigned responsibilities.
