Job summary

Council On Aging Of Volusia County seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect client care in Daytona Beach, FL. The role requires a Florida CNA certificate, CPR, and a valid driver’s license. You will assist with hygiene, meals, mobility, and documentation under RN supervision.

Excellent communication, empathy, and reliability are essential to support clients and collaborate with the COA team and case managers. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Florida CNA certification required; CPR training required.
• Level II fingerprint background, drug screen and TB screening required.
• Must have valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, transferring or ambulating and provide companionship.
• Assist with food, nutrition and diet activities, including meal preparation when required.
• Perform light housekeeping as prescribed by the service plan and report changes to supervisor.
• Complete all required billing, payroll and statistical reports.
• Maintain paperwork and service sheets clearly and timely.
• Attend required meetings and trainings to improve performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
