Job summary

Maurina Homecare Agency is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. You will assist patients with daily living needs, provide compassionate care, and help improve quality of life. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, hygiene assistance, and coordination with nurses and doctors.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and ready to advocate for patients. A fragrance-free environment is requested by the client and training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CNA/PCA certification.
• First aid and CPR certification are required.
• Basic computer skills needed for documentation.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong patient interaction.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Compassionate, respectful and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene and dressing.
• Assist with mobility, walking and physical therapy exercises.
• Provide adjunct patient care.
• Monitor food intake.
• Monitor vital signs.
• Collaborate with nurses and doctors and other healthcare professionals.
