Job summary

Up Closets of Rhode Island is seeking an in-home sales consultant to design and sell custom closet systems. You will meet clients, present designs, provide estimates, and collaborate with the installation team to ensure smooth execution.

This is a commission-based contractor role with adjustable earnings. Expect 10% commission on gross sales (12% for self-generated clients), stipends for consultations, and unlimited earning potential, with average yearly earnings ranging from $55,000 to $82,500.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales, interior design, or related fields preferred.
• Self-motivated and comfortable with commission-based income.
• Strong communicator with client-first mindset.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy.
• Comfortable meeting clients in their homes.
• Has reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and state ID.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their storage needs and preferences.
• Design custom closets and spaces using our software.
• Provide estimates and proposals for custom closet systems.
• Collaborate with the installation team to ensure accurate and efficient installation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication throughout the design and installation process.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Follow company policies and procedures related to design and customer service.
