Job summary

Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is seeking an In-Home Clinician for community-based work in Lowell, MA. You will manage flexible, independent schedules while delivering trauma-informed counseling to youth and families in their homes and communities.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, empower caregivers, and create tailored care plans to support behavioral health needs. A sign-on bonus accompanies the salary package, with training provided in core approaches.

Qualifications

• Requires master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling or related field.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Training provided in Motivational Interviewing, ARC and trauma-informed practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and family counseling using trauma-informed and culturally responsive interventions for youth and their families.
• Assist caregivers in navigating systems and promoting access to resources and supports.
• Empower caregivers with skills to support youth’s behavioral health needs.
• Create care plans and interventions to support skill-based growth for clients.
• Promote and strengthen family’s natural supports to foster a welcoming community.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordination of care and rights protection.
• Coordinate with community organizations to provide services and care.

In-Home Clinician

Community Based - Lowell

Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00/year + sign-on bonus (half paid after 6 months of employment and half paid after 1 year of employment/pro-rated for part-time).

Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is hiring In-Home Clinicians who would like to manage their own flexible and independent schedules. We provide a supportive culture that allows for a balance of personal responsibilities and professional development while contributing to the community.

What you will do:

• Conduct individual and family counseling usingtrauma informed and culturally responsive interventions foryouth and their families.
• Assist caregivers in navigating systems,topromote their awareness of resources and access to supports.
• Empower caregivers with skills and strategies to support their youth’s behavioral health needs.
• Create care plans and interventions to support skill-basedgrowth for clients.
• Promote and strengthen family’snatural supportsto foster a welcoming and supportive community for the youth.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with the youth, parents, and other providers to ensure close collaboration and coordination of care.
• Ensure that client’srights are respected, particularly in regard tocultural competency.
• Collaboratewith other community-basedorganizations to provide services and care for clients.

MinimumRequirements:

• Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling or related field.
