Home Matters Caregiving Central Jersey is hiring immediate shift CHHA caregivers in New Jersey. This in-home care agency provides companionship, basic nursing support, and end-of-life care, with paid training available Wednesdays and Thursdays.

We offer flexible scheduling, 24/7 office support, and a referral program. Candidates must have reliable transportation; Certified Home Health Aide certification is required.

Competenze

• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of patient care practices, including first aid and basic nursing skills.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
• Familiarity with care plans and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a client home or similar environment.
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Mansioni

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with mobility and transportation, including heavy lifting.
• Follow care plans and document changes in client conditions.
• Maintain client's living space cleanliness and safety.
• Report changes to nursing staff.
• Administer first aid as necessary and assist with medication reminders under supervision.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
