Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is hiring caregivers in Washington state to support clients with daily activities, transportation, and companionship. Training is provided, and paid orientation is offered as part of a flexible schedule that can fit part-time hours (20–30 hrs/week) and may grow to full-time with experience.

Applicants must have a valid WA driver’s license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.

Qualifications

• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle required
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Ability to adapt to flexible schedules

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including household chores, cooking, and meals.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in daily activities and hobbies.
• Help clients bathe, dress, and groom.
• Drive clients to store, appointments, or activities as needed.
• Monitor and report client condition and well-being
• Learn and use Hoyer lifts and gait belts when required.

Pay Range:

$18.25 to $21.75 Depending on Client/Shift

Current Client Needs:

• Every day of the week between 8am-7pm. The more availability you have, the more shifts available to you. WEEKENDS IN HIGH NEED

REQUIRED: must be able to transport clients in reliable vehicle, have WA Driver's license and active auto insurance.

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and grooming
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition
• comfortable or willing to learn Hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Plus

• Caregiver experience preferred, but paid training is available
• REQUIRED: must be able to transport clients in reliable vehicle, WA Driver's license and active auto insurance.
• Available for day, short shifts between 8am-6pm
• Weekend Availability a plus
• Memory care experience a plus
• Part time 20-30 hrs a week *can lead to full time

Additional Information

• Washington only - If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.
