Job summary

AmeriCare Plus in Covington, VA is hiring CNAs, NAs and PCAs to provide compassionate in-home personal care. You will assist with daily needs, monitor health, and support clients in their own homes.

We welcome male and female caregivers. Flexible shifts (FT/PT/PRN) with weekly pay and benefits for eligible staff; training and PPE provided; join a team making a meaningful difference.

Qualifications

• CNA/NA/PCA certification required; online PCA training available.
• Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
• SS card and two professional references provided upon request.
• Compassionate, patient and dependable caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming and bathing.
• Support mobility and transfers, e.g., bed to wheelchair.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
• Provide medication reminders and monitoring.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
• Monitor client health and report changes to supervisors.
