Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is seeking compassionate caregivers to support older adults and individuals with disabilities in their own homes across Northern Virginia. This role provides non-medical in-home care and daily assistance, enabling clients to stay independent and safe at home.

We offer flexible part-time & full-time schedules, ergonomic tools, and a supportive team. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour with incentives and benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia CNA license or Virginia HHA/PCA certification.
• Experience providing in-home care or caregiving.
• Experience using a Hoyer Lift is a plus.
• Current TB screening (within the last 12 months).
• COVID-19 vaccination record (booster preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must reside in Northern Virginia.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including: Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Toileting, Transfers and mobility assistance, Safely using a Hoyer Lift when required.
• Providing medication reminders
• Preparing light meals
• Performing light housekeeping
• Running errands and accompanying clients to appointments when needed
• Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition
• Accurately documenting care provided using our mobile caregiver app
• Building positive relationships with clients, families, and the office team
