Job summary

Right at Home Des Moines is seeking Skilled Caregivers and Home Health Aides to join a dynamic in-home care team providing clinical support to clients in their homes. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three years of caregiver/HHA experience in healthcare.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid driver's license and insured automobile.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities to assist with daily living tasks.
• Ambulation/transfers and assistance with eating, dressing, and bathing.
• Meal preparation and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany patient to errands or medical appointments.
• Housekeeping including cleaning, laundry, and bed linen changes.
• Medication reminders and range of motion exercises as taught.
• Support dementia or Parkinson's care as needed and assist with incontinence.
