Qualifications

Responsibilities

In Home Caregiver (Overnight)

Job Summary:

Safe and Sound Home Care, a family-owned company dedicated to providing professional, private duty care to help the elderly and disabled live safely and independently at home, is seeking a compassionate and skilled In Home Caregiver (Overnight) to join our team. As an In Home Caregiver (Overnight), you will work one-on-one with clients in the Oxford, MS area, providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and eating, to elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents
• Assist with medication administration and ambulation
• Help clients with mobility around the house or outside, including doctor's appointments and walks
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client shopping or accompany them on outings
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living, including assisting with meal preparation and other tasks

Qualifications:

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and willing to continuously learn new skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Demonstrated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce help in safety standards
• High school diploma or equivalent/experience as a Caregiver
• Take pride in high-quality care
