Job summary

CareOne Senior Care is seeking a dependable caregiver for a full-time in-home role in Rochester Hills, MI. You will provide non-medical support, build a trusting relationship with the client, and help maintain a calm, structured daily routine.

The schedule runs Mon-Fri 11:00 AM–8:00 PM and Sat-Sun 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, with consistent hours for reliable caregivers. Compensation ranges from $14–$17 per hour, with benefits and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license required.
Must be comfortable driving the client's vehicle.
Reliable transportation to and from the client's home.
Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Must successfully complete a background check.
Current TB test or willingness to complete one.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and social engagement
Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
Prepare meals and assist with meal preparation as needed
Provide medication reminders according to the care plan
Drive the client using the client's vehicle
Assist with errands and appointments
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
Provide support with daily routines and activities Communicate appropriately with the client, family, and CareOne Senior Care team
Document care provided according to company requirements
