Job summary

Crossroads Home Care Services in the Lakeshore area is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our growing team. You will provide non-medical, in-home support to older adults, helping them stay safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

This role includes assisting with daily routines, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and meaningful companionship. We offer flexible scheduling, part-time or full-time opportunities, and room for advancement as we expand in West Michigan.

Qualifications

• 6 months of caregiving experience (professional preferred) or current/active CNA certification.
• 1-2 positive references
• Experience assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, transfers, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home
• Support safe movement, transfers, and general ambulation as needed
• Prepare meals, assist with light housekeeping, and help maintain a clean, safe home environment
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities such as conversation, games, reading, or hobbies
• Offer transportation to appointments or errands when appropriate
• Provide medication reminders in accordance with care plans (non-medical)
• Observe and document changes in condition, and communicate updates or concerns to the care team
