Job summary

Safe Life Home Healthcare, a CHAP-certified company established in 2010, is seeking a compassionate In Home Caregiver to provide attentive, in-home support to clients in Markham, IL and surrounding areas. The role requires patience, reliability, and the ability to assist with daily living activities to enhance independence.

Responsibilities include personal care, hygiene, light housekeeping, transportation, and reporting changes to the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Experience in caregiving especially with elderly clients is preferred.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Reliable; compassionate; dedicated to client well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene and companionship; support daily living activities including bathing, dressing, meal prep, and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive home environment.
