Job summary

Visiting Angels Topeka is seeking caring individuals to join our team as In Home Housekeepers or Caregivers. You will support clients in their homes with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship, while following each client’s care plan.

We offer a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle for transporting clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and cooking within dietary guidelines.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents promptly.
• Assist with mobility and accompany clients on errands or shopping.
