Visiting Angels - Columbia, SC is seeking an In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper to support seniors in the Columbia area with compassionate care and daily living activities. The role focuses on companionship, safety, and helping clients maintain independence in their own homes.

Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and transportation. Training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care is offered to help you grow professionally while serving the community.

Responsabilidades

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (appointments, walks).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients (when able).
• Shop with or for the client.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper Requirements
