Job summary

Visiting Angels Brighton, CO is seeking an experienced In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper to support clients in the Brighton area, including Broomfield, Wattenburg, Lafayette, Louisville and nearby communities. You will assist with daily living tasks, light housekeeping, meals, and companionship in the clients’ homes.

Requirements include being at least 18 years old, at least 1 year of caregiving, a valid driver’s license, and background checks with random drug testing; compensation is determined

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old
• Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Background check required
• Random drug testing
• All compensation is determined on experience and merit.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercisesPlan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
