Assisting Hands Home Care in New Port Richey is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to provide personal care, homemaking, and companionship in clients’ homes in Pasco County.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, and monitoring safety. Training and background screening are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable form of transportation.
• Able to work with male and female clients.
• Pass a Level II Background Check (costs $90).
• Provide proof of a Negative TB Screening.
• CPR and First Aid Certification; Alzheimer’s/Dementia and HIV/AIDS certifications provided by the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care for elderly or disabled adults.
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, hygiene).
• Monitor client safety and provide supervision.
• Perform light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, errands).
• Assist with ambulation and transfers.
• Arrange transportation to appointments and errands.
• Assist with grocery shopping and online shopping.
• Prepare meals and provide companionship.
• Support clients' personal goals and provide friendly medication reminders.

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated IN HOME Caregivers to provide a combination of personal care, homemaking, and companion services for our clients. Be a trusted caregiver in ensuring clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in the place they love most—their home.

Job duties include:
Provide care for the elderly and/or disabled adults with developmental disabilities in the privacy of their own homes.
Personal Care Assistance (must be ok with: bathing, toileting, dressing and personal hygiene)
Monitor clients safety within the home/Supervision
Light Housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, laundry, etc.)
Ambulation and Transferring Assistance
Transportation - Assist with scheduling a transport to doctor appointments/run errands
Grocery Shopping / Assisting with online shopping
Meal Preparation
Companionship
Assist with the clients personal goals!
Provide friendly medication reminders!

Job Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be able to pass a Level II Background Check

Proof of a Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Screening
We have staff on site available to administer a TB Skin test
