Job summary

CareMed in Leavenworth, WA is seeking a compassionate in-home caregiver to support seniors at home. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and a chance to help clients live safely and with dignity in their own homes.

You will assist with ADLs, prepare meals, provide companionship, and follow individual care plans. English proficiency and a CDA/CNA license are preferred; prior dementia care is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia.
• Knowledge of ADLs and ability to assist with personal care tasks.
• Familiarity with client rights and confidentiality.
• Strong communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Patient-centered care and adaptability to individual needs.
• Knowledge of in-home care systems and procedures.
• Compassionate and empathetic by nature.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct in-home care and support to individuals with disabilities, dementia, or other special needs.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Prepare meals and assist with meals as needed
• Light housekeeping such as laundry, cleaning, organizing
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
• Follow care plans and ensure safety and well-being
