Job summary

Herewith Inc. is seeking a compassionate helper to assist a 70-year-old stroke survivor in Buda, TX. The role involves hands-on ADL and mobility support, toileting assistance, meal prep, and light housekeeping.

The family requests two split shifts to cover 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 5:00 PM–7:00 PM, with flexibility for either shift. Ideal candidates have experience with mobility support, patient and dependable nature, and a focus on encouraging independence while providing companionship.

Qualifications

• Experience with stroke recovery or mobility support.
• Patient, reliable caregiver with gentle, hands-on assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dressing and other ADLs.
• Help the client safely get out of bed.
• Support safe movement and mobility as tolerated.
• Provide toileting assistance.
• Prepare light meals.
• Help keep the home tidy.
• Provide companionship and encouragement.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
