Job summary

Sittercity Incorporated seeks an in‑home caregiver for a nonverbal autistic son. Schedule: on school days Monday–Thursday two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon; Friday two hours in the morning and four hours in the afternoon.

Non‑school days, the child is attended all day. Responsibilities include getting him on and off the bus, administering seizure medication in the morning, and managing emergency rescue meds if seizures last longer than four minutes.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for individuals with special needs.
• Ability to administer prescribed medications.
• Ability to assist with school bus routines.

Responsibilities

• Get him on and off the school bus in a timely manner.
• Administer morning seizure medication and monitor for side effects.
• Manage emergency rescue meds if seizures last more than 4 minutes.
• Assist with walking training for the recovering stroke patient and help elderly parent balance.

On school days m-th 2 hrs in am and 2 hrs in pm. Friday 2 hr am and 4 hrs afternoon. Non school days all day. Basically get him on and off bus and give seizure medication in am. He has emergency rescue meds for when a seizure lasts more than 4 minutes. Must be tolerant, calm, and strong

Could use help to train recovering stroke patient to walk. Balance ok but can help elderly parent in walking.
