Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Excellent time-management abilities and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• First Aid and emergency response training is required or provided if needed.
• Reliability and safe driving to transport clients may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support light physical activity or walks with clients.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications on schedule.
• Assist with mobility and errands at home and during appointments.
