Job summary

BrightCare HomeCare is seeking a dedicated caregiver to help clients stay independent in their own homes across the New Orleans area, including Metairie, Gretna, West Bank, Algiers, and Kenner.

You will assist with daily activities, provide personal care, and support mobility, meals, and household tasks while offering companionship to families. Positions available as PRN, part-time, or full-time with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment screening.
• Previous experience as at-home caregiver or in senior communities.
• Positive attitude and sincere desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• Work in New Orleans and surrounding areas: Metairie, Gretna, West Bank, Algiers, Kenner.
• This is a PRN position; can be part-time or full-time based on shifts.
