Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Land O' Lakes, FL is seeking in-home caregivers to provide a blend of personal care, homemaking, and companionship services for clients in their homes. Join a caring team focused on safety, comfort, and independence for those they serve.

The role includes training in CPR/First Aid, Alzheimer's care, and HIV/AIDS certification, with the compensation at $15.00 per hour. A reliable vehicle and a background check are required to begin.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have reliable form of transportation.
• Must be able to work with male and female clients.
• Must be able to pass a Level II Background Check.
• Proof of a Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for the elderly and/or disabled adults in their own homes.
• Personal Care Assistance (bathing, toileting, dressing and personal hygiene).
• Monitor clients' safety within the home and provide supervision.
• Light housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, laundry, etc.).
• Ambulation and transferring assistance.
• Transportation support to doctor appointments/run errands.
• Grocery shopping / online shopping assistance.
• Meal preparation.
• Companionship.
• Assist clients with personal goals.
• Provide friendly medication reminders.
