Job summary

At Peace Health Care Agency is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support for seniors and disabled adults. You will foster independence and dignity while building meaningful relationships with clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities include companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, bathing and grooming assistance, medication reminders, and safe transportation to appointments.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience providing personal care.
• Proof of current TB testing is required
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Must have available reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and automobile insurance
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check & fingerprint check

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients

• Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Remind and assist with medications
• Provide transportation for appointments and errands
