Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in New Port Richey, FL is seeking in-home caregivers to provide personal care, homemaking, and companionship in clients' homes across Pasco County. This full-time role emphasizes safety, comfort, and compassionate support for adults, including those with developmental disabilities.

You will perform personal care tasks, light housekeeping, transportation assistance, meal prep, and medication reminders while upholding CDC safety measures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable form of transportation is required.
• Must pass a Level II Background Check and TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care for elderly and/or disabled adults.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, toileting, dressing, hygiene).
• Monitor safety in the home and provide supervision as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, tidying).
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and transportation to appointments.
