Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide individualized in-home care, support daily living activities, and meaningful companionship for clients in their own homes. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and monitoring wellbeing under state guidelines.

A valid HCA/CNA license, a driver’s license, and reliable communication are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Current HCA or CNA license required (renewed annually).
• Ability to meet background check requirements.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently with good judgment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal caregiving services and support in the client’s home.
• Assists with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Supports the personal needs, comfort, and safety of clients.
• Prepares meals and assisting with special diets.
• Performs general housekeeping and household support activities.
• Provides compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Assists with transportation to appointments, errands, and activities.
• Administers medications as delegated and permitted by state regulations, including Nurse Delegation certifications when required.
• Assists with Passive Range of Motion activities when credentialed and trained.
• Offers limited assistance with vital signs for informational purposes only, per guidelines.
• Maintains accurate communication and reporting changes in client condition to the care team.
• Other duties as assigned
