Job summary

Visiting Angels Springfield is seeking an In Home Personal Aide to assist seniors with daily living tasks, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation. You will provide compassionate, one-on-one care in clients' homes in Central Illinois.

We offer a $16-$20/hour pay rate, weekly pay, a $400 sign-on bonus, flexible full-time/part-time/PRN shifts, mileage reimbursement, paid orientation and time off, and opportunities for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Own a vehicle with current insurance.
• Social Security Card.
• Passion to serve others.
• Emergency response knowledge and first aid.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with client input
• Shop for client or accompany them during shopping
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies
