Job summary

Kore Cares is hiring part-time daytime caregivers in Gettysburg, SD. You choose days and daytime hours, and we match you with clients needing care during those times. No caregiving experience or CNA certification?

Training is provided. CNA or healthcare workers are welcome for one-on-one home care roles. We offer a daytime schedule, paid training, and opportunities for wage advancement, with paid travel time and mileage between client visits.

What You'll Do

As a Kore Cares caregiver, you'll help individuals remain safe, independent, and comfortable in the place they call home.

Depending on each client's needs, you may:

• Help with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and other personal care
• Assist clients with walking, mobility, and transfers
• Prepare meals and assist with eating when needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide transportation and assist with errands
• Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Complete other tasks identified in the client's individualized care plan

Who We're Looking For

You don't need previous healthcare experience to be a great caregiver. We're looking for dependable, compassionate people who enjoy helping others.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes in the Gettysburg area
• Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the positionAbility to read, write, understand, and speak English
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
