Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking a dedicated in-home caregiver to support clients in Illinois. You will promote comfort, safety, dignity, and independence by assisting with personal care, daily activities, meals, and light housekeeping according to each client’s Plan of Care.

The role emphasizes compassionate, dependable service, adherence to care plans, and strong communication with the Care Manager and Staffing Coordinator to ensure high-quality home care for clients in their familiar

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of experience in home care, assisted living, long-term care, or related healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and caregiving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• 1) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment; identify safety hazards.
• 2) Provide ADL support: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers; assist mobility and prescribed exercises.
• 3) Prepare and serve meals per Plan of Care and dietary needs; assist with hydration.
• 4) Observe and report changes in client condition; document care accurately.
• 5) Support safe mobility and fall-prevention; assist with equipment as needed.
• 6) Follow infection control practices and company policies; complete required documentation.
