Job summary

Senior Helpers in Mississippi is seeking compassionate In-Home Caregivers to support clients in their own homes, helping maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. You will perform daily living assistance, provide companionship, and help with meals and medications.

Responsibilities include monitoring health changes, accompanying clients to appointments, and light housekeeping. A high school diploma or equivalent and background check are required, with flexible day/evening shifts

Qualifications

• Prior experience with elderly clients in a caregiving role preferred.
• Experience assisting seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s and memory-related conditions is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients with physical or cognitive limitations.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, linen changes).
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings.
• Monitor and report changes in health or behavior.
